PARTNERSHIP AND COMPANY LAW
We advise generally on matters that will concern small and medium sized businesses; both Partnerships, Limited Companies and the Self Employed/Sole traders. This advice runs across the other areas we practice in. For example businesses are relevant in matrimonial financial remedy proceedings, the work we carry out in Employment Law covers issues are relevant to both employers and employees and in respect of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate we deal with business related issues where necessary.
In respect of Commercial Conveyancing we utilise a Consultant who works through us with our Clients and can deal with lease and freehold business purchases and sales. He is Noel Chamberlain and his details are on our staff page of this site.
Please see the separate pages on this site concerning those areas of law and our practitioners who can advise at their particular fee rates.
We do not act on Company Formation or the drafting of Partnership Agreements but we do advise generally on the different methods of trading-see Martin Groat. Equally we do deal with business debt collecting-for small businesses- we do not handle bulk debt collecting. See our page on Dispute Resolution.
As part of working with businesses we are happy to work with your accountants and other advisers when required.
